The Clean and Finish Professional is a particularly dense non-woven fabric material that achieves a unique finish with an extremely long service life thanks to its deep-penetrating abrasive grain. The special sharpness results in the best matt finishing results on metals, fillers, putties, paints and wood. Due to the dense nylon fiber fleece, the hand pads are extremely grippy, resistant and ideally suited for light deburring work with high speed and efficiency.
Use the Scotch-Brite™ Handpad 7447 PRO for a variety of materials and applications. It combines flexibility with effective stock removal and precise control for consistently good end results. Our hand pad contains a densely dispersed aluminum oxide that produces a fine finish on wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass and composite materials. The hand pads are comparable to class 0 steel wool but, in contrast, do not rust after use and no fine metal splinters are produced. The open non-woven material is stress resistant and can be used dry, with water or solvents and rinsed out for reuse. Use our brown hand pad in many different ways. It fits comfortably in the hand for precise control. It can also be used with a hand block for an even finish or on an orbital sander for larger areas. The fast-cutting, fine-grained aluminum oxide in our hand pad makes it the first choice of many users. During use, compared to conventional abrasives such as Garant, the abrasive grains are released evenly to create lasting new cutting edges. Aluminum oxide is used for a variety of sanding applications because of its high cutting speed, hardness and strength with low heat generation. Use it on a variety of substrates such as woodworking, metalworking and ferrous alloys. Our hand pads are unique surface finishing products with abrasive minerals inserted into open-textured nylon fibers - a breakthrough nonwoven technology that gives Scotch-Brite™ PRO abrasives a faster cutting speed with a more uniform sanding pattern than other nonwoven abrasive products. Using our hand pads saves time and reduces labor when working on different workpieces. The combination of abrasives with nylon fibers creates a system that delivers consistent results over the life of the product. The open non-woven material is load resistant while ensuring that the material does not clog and remove material at high performance.
