3M™ Scotchfil™ Self-Welding Butyl Rubber Tape is a joint insulation for electrical conductors. This self-amalgamating tape is soft and pliable - simply shape with your fingers.
Use 3M™ Scotchfil™ Self-Welding Butyl Rubber Tape to insulate joints up to 600 V. This tape can be wrapped, stretched or molded around irregular shapes to provide fast, smooth insulation. It is soft and pliable enough to be easily molded with your fingers. It is UL certified as joint insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to 80°C when wrapped with either Super 33+™ or Super 88 vinyl electrical insulation tape.
