Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is a conformable, self-vulcanizing insulating and sealing tape with an adhesive mastic coated EPR backing. Tape 2228 is suitable for low, medium and high voltage applications.
Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is moisture resistant and has a very strong, temperature resistant adhesive mastic with excellent adhesion. This tape has an ethylene propylene rubber backing and offers optimum protection against UV radiation. This tape is suitable for both indoor and weather resistant outdoor applications and is suitable for all your damp proofing and electrical insulation applications. RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
